There will be made-from-scratch lemon bars for sale from The Garden Table, one of Indianapolis Monthly’s best new restaurants of 2015.

Wyliepalooza Ice Cream Emporium also will be on hand, selling frozen lemonade, frozen strawberry lemonade, and lemon Italian ice reminiscent of the Indiana State Fair.

Two bands from the Girls Rock! Indianapolis stable will be rocking the Lemonpalooza stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Carrie & the Clams and Sister Thredgoode!

Then from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., you can learn the skills to become a proper DJ from Deckademics, the first and only DJ school in Indianapolis.

Deckademics’ very own student DJs Lorin Oliver and Naymliss will also spin some tunes.

Scott Jones, the local entrepreneur who brought Lemonade Day to Indianapolis, has agreed to let a few local celebs to sell lemonade from his iconic lemonade stand, including Layshia Clarendon (Indiana Fever), Mike Huber (Indy Chamber), Scott Wise (Scotty’s Brewhouse), Chris Gahl (Visit Indy), and Dave O’Brien, the host of Mornings With Dave O’Brien on Country 97.1 HankFM!

Every lemonade will be served in a commemorative Lemonade Day cup. All proceeds from “Man the Stand” benefit the Lemonade Day Seed Fund, which provides start-up capital to those in the program who do not otherwise have the resources to start their own lemonade stand.

In fact, if you buy lemonade from Layshia, you can receive a voucher good for two free tickets to select Fever games in June!

So be sure to save the date, April 28th, and prepare to have fun with us at the inaugural LEMONPALOOZA!
