2023 NATIONAL YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
Duane Shaw - Lemon Squeezos
Duane Shaw is the CEO of Lemon Squeezos and a second-year participant in the Lemonade Day Fort Cavazos program. Duane successfully expanded his business by over 100%, generating $1,465 in total revenue. With a profit of $1,125, he saved $500, and shared $300 with a local children's non-profit. Duane has big plans for the future of his business with dreams of expanding to a food and beverage truck, and ultimately making his way into restaurants and vending machines. Read More

Edward & Ethan Chapman - The Chapman Brothers Lemonade Stand

Danyarelie Ruiz - Lemonadeby DM ( Dream More)
Opening a business during a pandemic is risky, but it did not stop Danya. The young businesswoman adjusted her plan and adapted to the circumstances using social media to reach her clients. She delivered her regular and strawberry lemonades using her bike, by car with her parents, or through take out. Her excellent command of social media coupled with the use of multiple points of sale helped her exceed her initial profit goals. Read More

Kaydence Roberts - Puppy-Licious Lemonade
As a four-year veteran of Lemonade Day, 12-year-old Kaydence Roberts has taken her Lemonade Day lessons and developed a very successful lemonade stand model. “To all the other kids who do Lemonade Day or are planning to, don't ever give up,” said Kaydence. “You might not make much the first year or second year. But each year you learn something new that will make you more successful the next time and that is what being an entrepreneur of your own business is all about.”

Ja’Qub and Jaden Anthony - Brother's Lemonade
This is the second year that 12-year old Ja’Qub Anthony and his 9-year old brother, Jaden, have participated in Lemonade Day with the support of their parents. They had so much fun in 2019 that not only did they register for Lemonade Day 2020, but they also formed an LLC and created a web site to sell their lemonade and other products online. The brothers also wrote a book called “The Boys Who Never Gave Up.” What is the boys’ advice to other kids? “Follow your dreams and never give up.”

Lemonade Day let me be the Entrepreneur I wanted to be. Creating ideas, running business, earning money all of this I could experience through Lemonade Day. I am extremely happy about the success of 2019's Lemonade Day sales and profit. Very glad about having the profits to spend, save and SHARE. Me and my brother are discussing if we can continue our lemonade stands throughout summer in farmers markets and other locations. We did Lemonade Day because we wanted to successfully earn money to donate to a great cause like Cedar Lake Lodge. 2016 National Entrepreneur of the Year
3 J's Lemonade
3 J’s Lemonade was the winner of the 2016 National Entrepreneur of the Year contest. The owner’s of 3 J’s, Philip, Caleb, and Elijah worked tirelessly to come up with creative recipes and market their product. Together, these 3 brothers have big plans for the future. They agreed that this year they would take their profits and reinvest in their business, hoping to one day purchase a truck so they can make their lemonade business mobile. While the youngest brother, Elijah awaits a bone marrow transplant, his older brothers are dedicated to keeping up the business in his absence. They plan to document their business journey so Elijah can stay connected while he’s recovering. 2015 National Entrepreneur of the Year
Katrina
Katrina went above and beyond during her 2015 Lemonade Day. Partnering with Killeen I.S.D.’s Homeless Awareness and Response Program (H.A.R.P.), Katrina raised $1,500 to purchase 300 books for homeless children in her area. She also didn’t limit her operations to only one day or just one location. Katrina had her stand at a ribbon cutting ceremony, a Sam’s Club, and the Killeen Mall. Her drive and commitment to helping others made her stand a rousing success. But Katrina’s commitment to the principles of Lemonade Day make her the 2015 National Youth Entrepreneur of the Year. Katie lives with her mom in Lubbock TX. One early morning in 2014, Katie discovered her bike was stolen off her porch. Katie didn’t know what to do…she had never had anything stolen from her before. How would she be able to get a new bike when she knew her mom couldn’t afford one? Luckily for Katie, her school teacher introduced her class to Lemonade Day. Katie dove into her lessons with zeal, working hard to achieve her goal of buying a new bike. That year, Katie not only earned enough money to buy her bike, but she also gave a donation to her favorite local charity. Katie wasn’t done there!
